Keep it to ONE PAGE. Hiring managers do not have the time to read your entire work history. Only mention your 3 latest jobs or any jobs that relate to the field you're applying for. Also include: contact, education (include GPA if a recent graduate), and soft/hard skills. Include achievements and volunteer work! They're a huge plus! Also, DO NOT include objective/summary and the statement "references upon request". They're outdated and are a waste of time and space.

Contact info is EASY TO LOCATE. It should be near your name or on the footer. Make sure you include phone number, professional email and any social media platforms you want companies to look at. DO NOT include your address if you want to work somewhere far. Hiring managers will favor someone more who lives closer than someone who lives far away.

Use up to 3 FONTS. The way I have my resume set up typography-wise: 1) my name and headlines 2) subheadlines (job position, timeframe, location) 3) description. That way, hiring managers can locate everything they need and will read your resume with ease! DM me if you need help!

PROOFREAD! Make sure all grammar and spelling is correct. Hiring managers will assume you do not pay attention to detail and will not hire you.

DO NOT USE A HEADSHOT! Hiring managers will judge you and probably will not hire you based on your looks. I know, tough crowd.
