If you don’t know what a brand style guide consists of, they are basically a set of rules on how your brand identity should feel and look in order to communicate with your audience. Your logos, colors, fonts and other elements need to be mentioned in the style guide. Here’s why these guides are important:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Consistency. You need to make sure your brand is professional, reliable and recognizable. All of your branding will feel unified and have a sense of pride in every detail.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Setting of Standards & Rules. Brand standards are not just for designers. Your virtual assistant or your other employees will need to have a copy with them when they type up an email in communication with a client, or when presenting in order to keep the tone consistent. They also need to have access to your logos and fonts!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Staying Focused. If your business sells new products every month, your audience will have to immediately identify who is selling this product. By using your style guide standards correctly, you make it easier to maintain the quality and integrity of your brand’s image.
